Excellent antique condition as a whole - only ONE tintype has any bends and those are pretty light

c1873 Rare Oglala Sioux Indian Chief Stereoview Photo / Smithsonian Institution black history Original Civil War era CDVRare Smithsonian Institution stereoview titled "Indian Chief", a wax mannequin of Oglala Teton Sioux chief Red Cloud taken at the Smithsonian's Castle building. It is the earliest Plains mannequin in the museum. The face appears to have been modeled after Alexander Gardner's 1872 photo of Red Cloud during a delegation visit. He is wearing a wonderful War shirt and Buffalo horn headdress, drum and dance rattle. Very good antique condition with light
